i can't believe it's already May and that we are just a few weeks away from the end of school. it seems like just yesterday that we were stuffing backpacks with fresh new school supplies and crisp new notebooks. today those same backpacks are showing their months and months of wear and tear. papers are crumpled and crammed in the bottom along with broken crayons and well used pencils.
as we look forward to the long summer days and fun family vacations, it's also time to reflect on a wonderful school year. it's time to thank all those fabulous teachers, aids and office staff who took great care of our little people this year. a simple thank you for a job well done goes a very long way!
our vintage inspired school crossing and children at play signs make unique and wonderful teacher gifts! they stand the test of time and are fun to display at home or in the classroom.
and our stoneware measuring cups with our You Really Measure Up printables are so cute for those teacher that loves to bake! attach your favorite cookie recipe or tuck their favorite snacks inside. it's sure to please.
and our no. 1 metal bin will delight any teacher! let them know that in your book, they really are number 1! fill it with pretty flowers or fresh new school supplies. or tuck a great summer book and a bottle of iced tea into the roomy compartments. any teacher who loves to read would love that thoughtful gesture!
saying thank you can be as simple as a handwritten note. let your kids show off what they learned this year and have them make their own cards! so many creative and thoughtful ways to say thank you! it's an important lesson for our kids to learn to say thank you. they learn from us, so let's set a memorable example for them.
if you need a fun photo op printable for those last day of school photos, be sure to download our Last Day of School 2015-2016 printables! we have them available in two color schemes!
how are you saying thank you this year? leave us a note in the comments and let us know. we always love to hear from you!
we hope that you enjoy the last few weeks of school!
